Realtors CAN be targets, however there are ways to reduce the risk of being targeted. This is a 2 hour training class aimed at empowering realtors to strive for self actualization and learn how to avoid and defend themselves if a risky situation arises. This class focuses on several different self-defense skills that all realtors should know including: wrist escape, choke escape, hammer fist, frame kick, palm heel strikes and MOST IMPORTANTLY, situational awareness. Licensed Colorado real estate agents will receive 2 units of continuting education credits upon completion of this course. Why Take the Class? It is important to be aware of and prepared for the unique dangers that realtors face. Based on a statistic from the National Association of Realtors 38% of realtors have been in a situation in which they feared for their own personal safety or safety of personal information.
